Pulse waves having a difference of more than 25% from the average interval of pulse waves is determined irregular. The number of irregular pulse waves is displayed up to three times.

The blood pressure monitor includes a small cuff (7–9 inches), an adult cuff (9–13 inches), a large adult cuff (13–17 inches), and an extra-large adult cuff (17–24 inches). These measurements are based on the circumference of the arm.
